Week of Dec 11th 2010 Beer Menu

Hola amigos and welcome to Winter 2010! The cold air means one thing to us beer drinkers, malt and more malts! Yes the Winter ales are in and we got a whole new batch for you to warm the palate. On draft we welcome the ever popular Harpoon Winter Warmer, a great balanced beer that has a malty caramel front and mild hops that provide a great warming after-taste. Bottle wise we have many new beers to choose from. Most notable is the ever-popular Delerium Noel, a Belgian Christmas tradition that many would say is the best holiday offering worldwide! Try one and decide for yourself. Also of note is the Founders Backwards Bastard. If you are a bourbon fan, this one is for you. Aged in oak bourbon barrels, this fine beer is not one to scoff at as it comes in at 10.2% abv. Well happy drinking and we look forward to seeing you at the Bayside Press!

Hey Now! An amzing day outside and what goes great with this weather, beer! And we have plenty of it here in Bayside. Never had Captain Lawrence Pale Ale from Westchester, it's a must have. Current beer list for 8/26/10

Hey now! Greetings from a steamy and humid Bayside....perfect weather for a beer! This week we are excited to debut a phenomenal beer from Michigan, Founder's Pale Ale. This brewery has produced nothing but top caliber beers and this is no exception. Crisp, slightly sweet and hoppy, this is one well balanced beer! Another fantastic editin is the classic Oktoberfest from Hofbrau in Germany. Finally we are enjoying the limited edition Coney Island Luna Lager. This beer was brewed initially for the new Luna Park amusement center in Coney Island but license issues forced them to reject the delivery and we were able to get a hand on one of the barrels! Enjoy.....

Hola amigos and welcome to Spring 2010! Been a while since I spoke with everybody and this was flagged by loyal reader Kim B. so thanks for the nudge to get back on track! Since we last spoke we have had some great additions to the draft line-up here in Bayside. Some key highlights include the great Muddy Creek lager from nearby Defiant brewery (Pearl River, NY) , the amazingly hopped Lagunitas IPA which is a superb offering and one hell of a pale ale from Maryland Flying dog brewery . New Beer Menu February 4th 2010

Hey now! Greetings to a brand new 2010. We look forward to a year filled with joy, prosperity and good beer!

With the new year comes several new bottles to whet your whistle. This week we are excited to feature Troegs Nugget Nectar in bottle. This seasonal beer, which has been described as nirvana for hop lovers, has been so talked about that is was sold out even before the distributors received their shipment from Troegs. We were lucky enough to jump on this bus and have plenty in stock. Stop in and see why Beer Advocate rates this beer an A and Ratebeer.com gives it a 99! Another new limited edition comes from our friends at Magic Hat. Vinyl is their spring amber offering and signals the long days of winter coming to an end. Other new noteworthy beers include Smuttynose old Brown Dog, a classic American brown ale and Duvel, a classic Belgian strong ale that is bottle conditioned.

Our draft system has seen two new additions this past week. The ever classic home town hero Brooklyn Lager has been a welcome addition. We have also added a phenomenal West Coast favorite, Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale. This is one hell of a beer, perfectly balanced with slight hops and crisp malt flavors.
